Australia gets 180 units of Hyundai i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition
Hyundai Australia has confirmed that 180 copies of the i30 N Drive-N Limited Special Edition will be available to local customers.
The South Korean automaker is building just 800 of the limited-edition i30 N Drive-N for the global market, and build numbers 620 to 799 will go to Australia.
The special model builds on the i30 N Premium with sunroof and adds a number of features. These include the fitment of exclusive 19-inch forged alloy wheels with a bronze finish, black Hyundai badging, special bronze badging on the front quarter panels with contact details for Hyundai’s Nurburging test center and Exclusive Drive-N decals on hot hatch sides.
Driven: The 2022 Hyundai i30 Sedan N pushes performance to new heights
Hyundai’s upgrades continue in the cabin of the limited edition i30 N Drive-N and include Alcantara on the steering wheel, gear lever, armrest and handbrake, as opposed to leather like all the other i30 N models. Additionally, the standard Performance Blue accents have been replaced with red trim, including the N buttons on the steering wheel as well as inserts and stitching on the seats. Exclusive floor mats have also been developed for the car.
Rounding out the changes is an individually numbered plaque on the center console. Owners also receive a welcome box with two sets of keys and a Drive-N key fob. Last but not least is a manual speed limit assist system which can be activated by holding down the cruise control button and setting a speed. When the set speed is reached, the car will limit the engine power to prevent the driver from exceeding this limit.
Hyundai Australia will offer the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition in six-speed manual and eight-speed dual-clutch variants. The manual is priced at AU$53,200 ($33,308), while the eight-speed will set buyers back AU$56,200 ($35,186).
