Enterprise Holdings strengthens its car rental presence in South Korea

Korea First Rent A Car introduces Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Alamo brands to the South Korean market

ST. LOUIS, November 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Two of the world’s largest car rental brands gain a foothold in South Korea for the first time. Today, Enterprise Holdings announced an agreement with Korea First Rent A Car to add new franchises offering car rental options from Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Alamo.

Founded in 1992, KFR has an established presence at U.S. military installations in South Korea and a solid list of key accounts, including large companies – foreign and domestic – hotels, TV stations and more.

The company has had success providing short and long term mobility solutions with an option for luxury chauffeur driven car services. In the Asia Pacific region, Enterprise currently offers chauffeured services through its partners in Vietnam, The Philippinesand China.

KFR currently offers a range of compact cars, luxury cars, SUVs and vans available for daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly rental options. The brand operates eight locations across the country and aims to open additional locations in other major metropolitan areas as the business expands.

Expansion plans include a presence at the four largest airports in South Korea including Seoul-Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport in Seoul; Jeju International Airport in Jeju; and Gimhae International Airport at Busan.
