One rushed to hospital after Thanksgiving crash on I-99
CENTRAL COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) – One person was rushed to hospital after a rollover accident involving seven people on Thanksgiving morning on I-99.
Alpha Fire Company and volunteers responded to the two-vehicle crash at 8:20 a.m. Thursday morning on I-99 at the 69.6 mile terminal in Center County. According to firefighters, both cars sustained significant damage after one overturned at least three times, according to an eyewitness.
Crews said the seven people were wearing seat belts or were strapped into child safety seats. The injuries appeared to be minimal, but one person was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for further evaluation. The on-site units even helped a family get to a local Sheetz to safely wait to be picked up.
