Vertu Motors Mercedes Reading dealership welcomes Thai auto retailers

A delegation of more than 30 Thai car dealerships visited Vertu Motors’ Mercedes-Benz Reading dealership to find out how they provide top-notch customer service.

Car retail group AM100 said in a statement that its operation on Richfield Avenue, Reading, had been chosen to host the incentive trip as the after-sales service regularly achieves some of the highest customer satisfaction scores in the world. country.

As well as discussing after-sales best practices, customer satisfaction management and digital innovations with their British counterparts during their visit to the UK, Thai visitors also visited Mercedes-Benz World at Brooklands, sampling its racing simulators and its on-track driving experiences.

Mark Gibbings, Vertu Motors Mercedes-Benz COO, said: “It was a pleasure to welcome colleagues from Mercedes-Benz retailers to Thailand and show off the fantastic Reading dealership.

“There was a mutual exchange of information and working methods which I am sure will have benefited both parties.”

Mercedes-Benz is set to be the first major European automaker to build electric vehicles (EVs) in Thailand.

Beginning production at Southeast Asia’s largest auto manufacturing hub this year, it will build its flagship EQS electric sedan in the country.

Vertu Motors completed the £5million expansion and refurbishment of its Mercedes-Benz dealership in Reading in 2020.

The work included expanding the facility to accommodate 14 cars as well as creating a new service reception designed and refurbished to the latest Mercedes-Benz Corporate Identity (CI) standards.

More recently, the group completed the modernization of its Mercedes dealership in Slough.
