Yahoo and Toyota Racing Development Announce Multi-Year Agreement
Yahoo will be an official Toyota Racing Development Partner under a multi-year agreement that will include major projects with Toyota-backed teams of Joe Gibbs Racing, Kyle Busch Motorsports, Venturini Motorsports and Keith Kunz Motorsports.
The partnership kicks off with Christopher Bell’s number 20 carrying Yahoo on his car this weekend at Martinsville Speedway. Yahoo will also be Bell’s main car sponsor for the Coca-Cola 600, Southern 500, Road America and Bristol Night Race. Yahoo will be the main sponsor of Kyle Busch’s truck at Sonoma Raceway.
Yahoo will also support the Toyota Driver Development program and drivers John Hunter Nemechek, Jesse Love and Kaylee Bryson. Nemechek will be supported by Yahoo in truck racing at Pocono and Indianapolis Raceway Park. Love will have Yahoo on his car in five ARCA events for Venturini Motorsports. Bryson will have Yahoo on his midget car for 18 events.
“At Yahoo, we connect people to their passions with the content and experiences that fuel their day,” Iván Markman, Yahoo’s chief commercial officer, said in a statement. “We are excited to work with TRD this year and look forward to seeing the Yahoo brand at full speed.”
“Yahoo is an iconic brand, and we are delighted to align TRD with them,” said Jack Irving, Group Director, Commercial, TRD, in a statement. “Yahoo and TRD are very excited about the future of this program, and we are ready to introduce them to several Toyota racing disciplines this season.”
